This project was truly a “trust the process” type of ordeal. How do I make something that looks like leather, but is so thin and lightweight heavy enough to hold heavy paper, to wrap without pulling significantly, and to feel nice in my hands? Well, I think I found the best solution with this wrap-around design. I quite like the long stitch signatures. Maybe I’ll get a little crazy in the future, but for now we’re staying kinda organized with straight cut dotted signatures folded with individual sheets of cotton blank pages, which I LOVE to ink on.
